It's that time of year for the Schweers Historical Foundation Annual Meeting.
When: Saturday, Oct 19th starting at 10:30am onwards
Where: Schweers Homestead aka Willie's House
What: We will be serving brisket and ribs so everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
We will have our annual meeting followed by a delicious lunch.
We'll also have games for the kids and a Turkey Shoot for prizes. The turkey shoot (targets) will be set up for 25 yards for pistol and 50 yards for rifle. $10 for 3 shots. Winners will receive a gift certificate for turkeys. Just in time for the holidays!
Note for the turkey shoot only .22 or 9mm will be allowed (pistol or rifle).
In addition - we also have firewood for sale. So if you're in need for firewood, now's the time to stock up! One of these days we will actually get cooler weather!
